Abstract

Farmer Exchange Rate (NTP) is a comparison of the price index received by farmers (It) to the price index paid by farmers (Ib).

NTP is one of the indicators to see the level of ability/purchasing power of farmers in rural areas. NTP also shows the exchange rate (terms of trade) of agricultural products with goods and services consumed or for production costs. The higher the NTP, the relatively stronger the level of ability/purchasing power of farmers.

In October 2024, the Farmer Exchange Rate (NTP) of North Maluku Province was 103.92 or an increase of 0.05 percent compared to the previous month (September 2024) which was 103.87.

The Household Consumption Index (IKRT) in North Maluku was 121.53 percent in October 2024 or an increase of 0.07 percent compared to the IKRT of the previous month (September 2024) which was 121.45.

The Agricultural Household Business Exchange Rate (NTUP) of North Maluku Province in October 2024 was 108.73 or an increase of 0.03 percent compared to the NTUP in the previous month (September 2024) which was 108.69.
