Abstract

Farmer Exchange Rate (NTP) is the comparison of the price index received by farmers (It) to the price index paid by farmers (Ib).
NTP is an indicator to see the level of ability / purchasing power of farmers in rural areas. NTP also shows the terms of trade of agricultural products with goods and services consumed as well as for production costs. The higher the NTP, the relatively strong the level of ability / purchasing power of farmers.
In October 2020, the North Maluku Province Farmer Exchange Rate (NTP) was 96.18 or an increase of 0.51 percent when compared to the previous month (September 2020) which was 95.69.
Nationally, the NTP for October 2020 was 102.25, which had an increase of 0.58 percent compared to the NTP for September 2020, which was 101.66.
In October 2020, there was a decrease in the Household Consumption Index (IKRT) in North Maluku by -0.01 percent, while at the national level there was an increase in the IKRT of 0.24 percent.
