Abstract

Farmer Exchange Rate (NTP) is the comparison of the price index received by farmers (It) to the price index paid by farmers (Ib).
NTP is an indicator to see the level of ability / purchasing power of farmers in rural areas. NTP also shows the terms of trade of agricultural products with goods and services consumed as well as for production costs. The higher the NTP, the relatively strong the level of ability / purchasing power of farmers.
In November 2020, the Farmer Exchange Rate (NTP) of North Maluku Province was 96.56, an increase of 0.40 percent compared to the previous month (October 2020) which was 96.18.
Nationally, the NTP for November 2020 was 102.86, which increased by 0.60 percent compared to the NTP in October 2020, which was 102.25.
In November 2020, there was an increase in the Household Consumption Index (IKRT) in North Maluku by 0.79 percent, while at the national level there was an increase in the IKRT of 0.51 percent.
The Exchange Rate of Agricultural Household Businesses (NTUP) in North Maluku Province in November 2020 was 97.70 or an increase of 1.09 percent compared to NTUP in the previous month (October 2020) which was 96.65.
