North Maluku Economy Quarter III - 2019 Grows 4.12 Percent

Abstract

The economy of North Maluku in the third quarter of 2019 based on the amount of the Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP) at current prices reached Rp9 961.5 billion and at the base of constant prices in 2010 reached Rp6,652.6 billion.
The economy of North Maluku in quarter III-2019 compared to quarter III-2018 (y-on-y) grew 4.12 percent. From the production side, growth was driven by almost all business sectors, with the highest growth being achieved by the Business of Providing Accommodations and Food and Drink which grew by 9.37 percent. On the expenditure side, the highest growth was achieved by the Gross Fixed Capital Formation Component (PMTB) of 172.90 percent.
The economy of North Maluku quarter III-2019 compared to the previous quarter (q-to-q) increased by 0.92 percent. From the production side, the highest growth was in the Mining and Quarry Business Field at 5.56 percent. While in terms of expenditure, the highest growth was in the PMTB Component of 98.08 percent.
The economy of North Maluku in the first quarter to third-2019 (c-to-c) grew 6.40 percent. From the production side, growth was driven by most business sectors, with the highest growth being achieved by large and retail trade businesses which grew by 10.33 percent. In terms of expenditure, the highest growth was achieved by the PMTB component which grew by 82.19 percent.
