North Maluku's economy in third quarter of 2020 grows by 6.66 percent

Abstract

The economy of North Maluku in the third quarter of 2020 based on the amount of Gross Regional Domestic Product (PDRB) at the current price reached IDR 10 678.1 billion and based on constant prices 2010 reached IDR 7 095.9 billion.
The economy of North Maluku in quarter III-2020 grew by 6.66 percent when compared to quarter III-2019 (y-on-y). In terms of business fields, growth was driven by most categories, with the highest growth being achieved by the Manufacturing Industry Category which grew 106.98 percent. In terms of expenditure, the highest growth was achieved by the Overseas Export Component of 88.51 percent.
The economy of North Maluku in quarter III-2020 grew by 7.82 percent when compared to quarter II-2020 (q-to-q). In terms of business fields, growth was driven by most categories, with the highest growth being the Food and Drink Provision Category, which grew 42.30 percent. In terms of expenditure, the highest growth was achieved by the Gross Fixed Capital Formation Component of 56.61 percent.
The economy of North Maluku for quarter I to III-2020 when compared to quarter I to III-2019 (c-to-c) grew positively by 3.20 percent. In terms of business fields, growth was driven by most of the business fields where the highest growth was in the Manufacturing Industry Category with a growth of 56.81 percent. In terms of expenditure, the highest growth was achieved by the Gross Fixed Capital Formation Component, which grew by 58.23 percent
