Abstract

Maluku Utara's economy in 2020 based on the amount of Gross Regional Domestic Product (PDRB) at the current price reaches IDR 42 142.2 billion and at constant prices reaches IDR 27 868.5 billion.

Maluku Utara's economy in 2020 grew 4.92 percent, lower than the 2019 achievement of 6.10 percent. From the production side, growth was driven by most of the business fields, with the highest growth being achieved by the Processing Industry Business Field, which grew by 59.07 percent. From the expenditure side, the highest growth was achieved by the Overseas Export Component (Export LN), which grew by 61.19 percent.

The economy of Maluku Utara in quarter IV-2020 when compared to quarter IV-2019 (y-on-y) grew 9.48 percent. From the production side, growth was driven by most of the business fields, with the highest growth being achieved by the Processing Industry Business Field, which grew by 65.56 percent. In terms of expenditure, the highest growth was achieved by the Foreign Export Component, which grew by 119.69 percent

The economy of Maluku Utara in the fourth quarter of 2020 compared to the previous quarter (q-to-q) grew by 5.98 percent. From the production side, the highest growth was in the mining and quarrying business fields by 50.01 percent. Meanwhile, from the expenditure side, it was achieved by the Foreign Export Component which increased by 79.41 percent
