Abstract

The North Maluku Province's export value in June 2019 was US $ 55.68 million, a decrease of 27.07 percent compared to May 2019 which was valued at US $ 76.34 million.

North Maluku's exports in June 2019 took the form of ore, crust and metal ash (HS 26) to China and Ukraine and iron and steel (HS 72) to India.

Cumulatively, North Maluku's exports from January to June 2019 amounted to US $ 363.60 million, an increase of 36.24 percent compared to the January-June 2018 period of US $ 266.89 million.

Cumulatively, the export volume of North Maluku from January to June 2019 was 5,941.54 thousand tons, an increase of 21.76 percent compared to January-June 2018 which was 4,879.65 thousand tons. • The value of Indonesia's exports in June 2019 reached US $ 11.78 billion, down 20.54 percent compared to exports in May 2019. Meanwhile, if compared to June 2018, it decreased by 8.98 percent.

Cumulatively, the value of Indonesia's exports from January to June 2019 reached US $ 80.32 billion, down 8.57 percent compared to the same period in 2018.

The import value of North Maluku Province in June 2019 was US $ 10.15 million, a decrease of 76.83 percent compared to May 2019 which was valued at US $ 43.81 million.

North Maluku's import volume in June 2019 was 7.12 thousand tons or decreased by 92.04 percent compared to May 2019 which was 89.52 thousand tons.

In June 2019, North Maluku Province imported 25 categories of goods with the largest import value in the vehicle and parts category (HS 87) valued at US $ 5.89 million.

North Maluku's imported goods in June 2019 come from China and Malaysia.

The value of North Maluku imports in January-June 2019 was US $ 173.19 million, an increase of 52.70 percent compared with imports from January-June 2018 which were valued at US $ 113.42 million.

North Maluku's import volume from January to June 2019 was 298.16 thousand tons, an increase of 28.85 percent compared to the same period in 2018.

The value of Indonesia's imports in June 2019 reached US $ 11.58 billion, down 20.70 percent compared to May 2019, but when compared to June 2018 it rose 2.80 percent.
