Abstract

The number of poor people in North Maluku in March 2020 was 86.37 thousand people (6.78 percent), decreasing by about 0.81 thousand people compared to the poor population in September 2019 which was 87.18 thousand people (6.91 percent). • The percentage of poor people in urban areas in March 2020 was 4.53 percent, an increase of 0.29 points compared to September 2019 which was 4.24 percent. While the percentage of poor people in rural areas in March 2020 fell 0.29 points to 7.70 percent compared to the situation in September 2019 which amounted to 7.99 percent.
